In this role, you will conduct rigorous testing of vehicles and automotive components to ensure they meet high standards of safety, performance, and quality. Your expertise will help shape the future of automotive innovation through hands-on testing, detailed analysis, and adherence to strict safety protocols.Duties:Perform test drives on various vehicle models to evaluate handling, performance, and safety features under different conditionsCollect and document data during vehicle testing sessions using specialized equipment and softwareConduct mechanical inspections and interpret technical blueprints to diagnose potential issuesUtilize non-destructive testing techniques such as ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing (RT), magnetic particle inspection (MPI), penetrant testing, and X-ray inspection to assess vehicle components' integrityAssist in equipment testing, calibration, and maintenance to ensure accurate results during vehicle evaluationsFollow strict safety protocols during all testing procedures to maintain a safe working environmentCollaborate with engineering teams to analyze test results and recommend improvements or modificationsExperience:Proven experience with automotive testing or related engineering roles involving surface mount technology, quality control, or quality assurance processesStrong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawingsFamiliarity with non-destructive testing techniques including ultrasonic testing, radiographic (RT), magnetic particle inspection (MPI), penetrant testing, and X-ray inspection as testing techniquesProficiency in using hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, soldering equipment, and other mechanical assembly toolsExperience working within manufacturing environments adhering to ASME codes & standards and safety protocolsAbility to collect, analyze, and report data accurately using Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of aircraft non-destructive testing methods is a plus but not requiredExcellent analysis skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvementJoin us in driving innovation forward!
