As a Staff Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care through a fully remote telehealth model. Accountabilities: As a Staff Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will deliver comprehensive, compassionate psychiatric care while maintaining high clinical standards and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. - Provide psychiatric assessment and treatment for conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other mental health concerns. - Conduct comprehensive evaluations covering psychiatric and medical histories, diagnostic assessments, and patient risk factors. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and brief psychotherapy when appropriate. - Deliver compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care through remote consultations. - Apply evidence-based clinical protocols and responsible prescribing practices, particularly when managing controlled substances. - Collaborate with psychiatrists and clinical colleagues through consultations, peer discussions, and case reviews. - Use electronic health records, e-prescribing systems, and other digital tools to support effective and reliable telehealth delivery.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow applicable professional, ethical, and regulatory standards. - Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, continuous learning, and high-quality patient experiences. Requirements: The ideal candidate is a qualified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with strong diagnostic and treatment capabilities, a commitment to evidence-based practice, and the ability to build effective therapeutic relationships remotely. - Hold active, unrestricted state-issued authority to practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in at least one U. S. state or jurisdiction. - Demonstrate strong psychiatric assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and medication-management skills. - Be committed to compassionate, patient-centered, evidence-based mental health care. - Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and clinical colleagues. - Be comfortable delivering psychiatric care through telehealth and using electronic health record systems and digital clinical tools. - Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and a commitment to ethical prescribing, patient safety, and appropriate risk assessment. - Be willing to collaborate with psychiatrists and peers to support clinical decision-making and continuous improvement. - Be prepared to meet applicable professional and regulatory requirements for the states in which you provide care.
