Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in San Bernardino, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government human services location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will respond to concerns, communicate professionally, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, clients, and staff at a government human services location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and assist with directing individuals in accordance with established site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following applicable response protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
