Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health concerns and individual treatment needs.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's goals and mental health challenges.

• Delivering individual therapy sessions for adult clients, employing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to foster therapeutic growth.

• Providing teletherapy services to ensure accessibility for clients, maintaining engagement and delivering therapeutic interventions through virtual platforms.

• Carrying out crisis intervention services when necessary, taking a compassionate approach to address urgent mental health situations.

• Participating in ongoing professional development to stay updated with mental health best practices, enhancing your therapeutic skills, and contributing to team learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on adult clients experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their unique cultural and personal needs. Your ability to cultivate trust and rapport with clients will be essential in facilitating their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must fulfill the following qualifications:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build meaningful relationships with clients and collaborate with team members.

• A compassionate, empathetic demeanor, demonstrating a non-judgmental approach in supporting clients.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, allowing for effective administration of caseloads.

• A clean disciplinary record as verified by the licensing board.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
