An established mid sized Chicago law firm is seeking a Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Partner to expand its restructuring capabilities and play a leading role in the continued development of the practice.
\nThe firm has complementary strengths across commercial litigation, lending, corporate and real estate matters. This creates a strong platform for a partner who wants to grow an existing practice through internal introductions, competitive rates and direct access to decision makers.
\n \nThe Opportunity
\n \nThe successful partner may represent secured lenders, trade creditors, landlords, fiduciaries, asset purchasers, distressed businesses and other stakeholders in matters including:
\nRequirements
\n \nCandidates should have at least ten years of bankruptcy, restructuring or creditor rights experience. They should possess strong market relationships, excellent commercial judgement and the ability to lead complex matters.
\nA portable practice of approximately $500,000 or more is preferred. The firm will also consider a smaller current book where the candidate has recurring institutional relationships, a persuasive growth plan or clear opportunities to generate work across the wider platform.
